For the first time in 18 years, tiger cubs have been born at the Delhi zoo. Siddhi, a Royal Bengal tigress, gave birth to five cubs on May 4, according to a statement issued by the Delhi Zoo.
Unfortunately, three of the cubs were stillborn, but the mother and the two surviving cubs are in good health and under constant CCTV surveillance. The Delhi zoo is home to four adult Bengal tigers -- Karan, Siddhi, Aditi, and Barkha.
