Delhi's Red Light area - the GB road, or Shradhanand Marg, lies between Ajmeri Gate and Lahori Gate in the walled city of Old Delhi. In the small brothels here, sex workers lead lives full of humiliation and everyday insults.
Their aspirations and dreams sometimes receive a glimmer of hope from various social workers who claim to be working to uplift them. But, even that does not usually last for very long.
